Lawrence Miorelli grew up on a farm in southwestern Pennsylvania and helped with the family home construction business. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and taught high school English and Reading for several years in the Pittsburgh area before becoming a management consultant. Lawrence works with clients to design and implement programs resulting in streamlined workflow, higher productivity, and profitability, while improving quality and on time delivery, exceeding client expectations through focused results. Lawrence has worked as a turn-around management consultant in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, mining, food & beverage, consumer products, and maintenance. He facilitated teams of managers and supervisors in the development and implementation of viable business plans and productivity goals designed to drive their business to higher levels of performance and profitability. He has managed consulting projects through the entire implementation process by using effective KPIs, best practices, and lean manufacturing techniques. Lawrence has successfully consolidated facilities through streamlining manufacturing processes and reducing inventory and taken on the responsibility of improving the overall performance of 4 manufacturing facilities comprised of over 1,500 employees. He is an accomplished manufacturing leader who also works with brewery and distillery clients in the areas of packaging and maintenance systems and operational excellence initiatives. Outside of his work, Larry is a member of the Pittsburgh Alumni Club and is a volunteer with Team Rubicon. Also, Lawrence is the author of the published novel, The Walls of Rockingham (subtitle Orchestrating Manufacturing Greatness). In the past, Lawrence has served on the Civil Service Commission in Collier Township (Allegheny County, PA), taught middle school English and Reading at the John Linton Intermediate School in Penn Hills School District (Penn Hills, PA) and was a volunteer for the Erie Refugee Center.
